You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (HR Development) in the Workforce Development Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will engage with organizational management and subject-matter-experts to help assess workforce skill gaps and critical training needs in order to meet mission and command initiatives.
You will research potential instruction/curriculum to satisfy developmental requirements and prepare requests for proposal.
You will execute contracting within technical authority and oversee administrative and logistical aspects of training events for own and other team members’ events.
You will evaluate training based on various feedback vehicles and apply the results for improvement and adaptive learning.
You will help manage budget in areas of responsibility to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately.
You will utilize various online tools and systems for event/budget management, registration, and training records.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Analyzing available information to identify development and training needs; 2) Planning, contracting, and arranging for on-site training; 3) Researching, interpreting and explaining training policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; and 4) Consulting and conducting surveys with assigned customers groups.
