Duties
Develops and implements Resource Management Branch Acquisition policy, procedures, and guidelines to manage Resource Management Branch contracts.
Performs contracting officer representative (COR) functions for IT hardware, software, and service support contracts.
Establishing work statements, preparing acquisition packages, developing selection criteria, performance requirements and other matters concerning contract implementation, interpretation and application.
Ability to interpret and apply the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other DoD and DISA regulations that govern the management and acquisition of information systems and the ability to provide this guidance to others in DISA.
Evaluates suspense requirements assigned to the program, which may vary in size and complexity, but tend to involve high priority issues, highly sensitive issues, and/or requirements with short deadlines.
Prepares and presents formal and informal briefings to chain-of-command management on assigned projects and to other organizations.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug Testing Position.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must possess:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade 13within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience in developing and managing contracts formulation and administration, while also leading project management at the organizational level.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level.
