Duties

Estimate purchase cost versus rebuilds or fabrications cost. Issue a list of unavailable parts to alert management of program delays. Provide personnel or production support to Travel Division and customers. Schedule required parts and materials to be expedited to meet operation needs of mission. Deliver information to management on cost, rescheduling, shortage, or unavailability of parts and manpower.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government travel card (GTC).
• Obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 90% of the time. (CONUS/OCONUS)
• This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid regular or official U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to pass pre-deployment physical and annually thereafter and maintain any required immunizations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and will not be made permanent.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years and cannot be made permanent.
• Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.
