The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) Chief, Plans and Programs, responsible for planning and programming all matters pertaining to present and future organizational structure, articulating the capabilities of the 480 ISRG; and function as the COR for all contract matters pertaining to the 480 ISRG and subordinate units.
Duties
Leads the Plans and Programs Functions.
Directs planning processes and programs.
Performs supervisory role/position of military, civilian and contract personnel.
Manages personnel authorizations and resources.
Leads operations and integration affecting Air Force operations, mission and Airman services on Fort Gordon.

- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to SCI, other Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Special Access Programs to perform the duties of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

- This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission.
- In the event of national crisis, extensive after-duty or extended hours may be required to satisfy urgent operational support requirements.
- The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays to include overtime and workload demands. Shift work may be required.

- This position meets all requirements as a category 4 designation, and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization. This position must be removed from the Ready Reserve and CAN NOT become a member of the Ready Reserve.
- This position is in the excepted service authorized by Title 10 U.S.C. and covered by the Defense Civilian Intelligence Management System (DCIPS). The employee must also sign a Statement of Understanding prior to occupying a DCIPS position.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Supervisory/Management" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: assessing programs or projects to make recommendations that improve efficiency or effectiveness of processes and/or administrative/management support operations; planning work schedules in a manner that promotes effective use of organizational resources; and developing goals and objectives that integrate organization, staff and mission support division functions and programs consisting of military/civilian personnel management programs, manpower, protocol, logistics functions, facilities management, safety, security, operations scheduling, knowledge management, task management tool, budget management, development, execution and projection, contract management, future operations-plans and programs, and the commander's inspection program objectives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of mission and operations support programs, concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement effective mission, operations and personnel support programs within the organization.
2. Knowledge of required training concepts, programs, procedures and practices to assist managers in complying with established mission, operations and personnel programs.
3. Knowledge of COR policies and guidance.
4. Knowledge of DCIPS policies and guidance.
5. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating mission, operations and personnel programs to meet mission requirements and improve mission and operations support programs for the organization. Skill in developing, analyzing, evaluating and supervising military and civilian personnel IAW with established AF and DoD guidance.
6. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, through clear, concise, and technically accurate written materials. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
