This position is located at the U.S. Mint, Philadelphia, Office of Production, within the Die Manufacturing Division. As an Industrial Specialist (Machinery), you will be responsible for providing the head of the Die Manufacturing Division with multifaceted technical advice on all aspects of the manufacturing of coinage dies.

Qualifications

Specialized experience for the GS-12 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is: - Demonstrated Proficiency in CNC Programming; AND - Planning and coordinating integration of new equipment installations with existing production, and equipment repair; AND - Planning technical work and preparing schedules for completion; AND - Establishing and maintaining working relationships with others to ensure overall goals are met; AND - Planning and coordinating projects.
