You will serve as a Facilities and Equipment Planning Division {Code 106), in the Facilities and Equipment Planning Division {Code 106), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will establish overall goals and objectives including management of fiscal, human, and material resources . You will provide overall direction, oversight, responsibility, authority, and accountability for the division. You will be accountable for conclusive management actions on all matters regarding the basic content and character of the division's operations. You will direct daily support-functions by applying a comprehensive knowledge of facilities and equipment operational requirements and oversight of managed programs. You will develop and revises directives, instructions, procedures and policies for programs and projects under his/her purview. You will plan short and long-term projects covering budgetary and technical aspects for all programs to ensure mission goals and objectives are met. You will provide appropriate disposition of government property and coordinates property management guidance.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT-II level designation.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

For GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience working within various areas of an organization, providing direction and coordinating activities as it relates to scheduling. Experience performing facility functions, cost control, as well as conducting quality assurance and productivity improvement (such as but not limited to Base Operating Service Contract, ISSA/MOA/MOU, NAVFAC Support). Experience sustaining Industrial Plant Equipment, Minor Property, Material Handing and Weight Handling Equipment Programs, and Vehicle and Transportation Operations.
