View the PD at: PD Search Serves as an IT Project Manager in the Office of Systems Architecture (OSA) and is responsible for establishing the integrated project team, developing and implementing project plans, leading project planning, project execution and monitoring and controlling projects in support of SSA's programmatic and administrative systems, and is responsible for adhering to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, deliverables, and project management plans. Leads coordination, facilitates progress, and integrates tasks and activities across the project lifecycle. Ensures integrity of risk and issue data in SSA’s standard project management tools. Works with various customers to identify their information systems requirements.

Oral Communication - Express information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); make clear and convincing oral presentations; listen to others, attend to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such IT-related experience must include work that involves: 1. Coordination and communication with other components/offices on IT projects AND 2. Direct experience with IBM Content Manager On Demand. The specialized experience is REQUIRED and must be explicitly documented/described in your resume, or you will be disqualified from further consideration.
