THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number T5817000 and is part of the WI 115 LRS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
Duties
Develops goals and objectives that integrate organizational, supply, transportation and fuels objectives
Promotes team building, implements quality improvements, and responds to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
Provides advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters.
.Develops plans, programs, and policies for the operation, management, and administration of current and projected organizational programs.
Assists in formulating policies, concepts, and procedures to ensure that an effective LRS operation is maintained using personnel, equipment, and funding to support the mission.
Maintain a working knowledge of functional manpower requirements and documents, manning levels, and work with respective flight leadership to address staffing concerns.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. Experience with funds management and advising on funding and resources.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade and supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Candidate must have knowledge and experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Experience managing inventory training programs, inspection programs and supply procedures. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Must have experience with budget planning and budget programs. Experience advising higher level supervisors on available resources of personnel, equipment, and funds.
