THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (RESOURCE ADVISOR) - Title 5, Position Description Number T5817000 and is part of the WI 115 LRS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.

Duties
You will direct the development, coordination, and implementation of the squadron budget. You will oversee, monitor, and approve financial resources issued to the squadron and under jurisdiction of the Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander to ensure they are executed within all legal parameters for the purpose in which they were provided. Be the squadron focal point for all resource questions, systems, and management in support of unit mission.
DUTIES:
- Coordinate with the Squadron Commander and Senior Enlisted Advisor to develop budget forecasts and spend plans.
- Coordinate with organization branches to gather resource requirements to assist in planning future annual budgets.
- Coordinate, review, and approve resources executed to ensure they are executed within all legal parameters and do not violate purpose, time, and amount rules.
- Learn and maintain a working knowledge of all financial systems used by the installation to budget, track, and execute funds distributed to the squadron.
- Be the 115 LRS commander's representative at the 115 FW Financial Working Group.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. Experience with military funds management and advising on funding and resources.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-2001-11 level, you must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc.
