As the Associate Director of the Network and Telecommunications Services (NaTS) Service Line in NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), you will direct IT projects to meet business objectives, operational goals, and key business priorities. Working closely with the technical integrators for Operations and Security, you will create and maintains integration strategies, internal procedures, documentation, budgets, and policies related to critical Agency systems.

Duties

Develops project plans, including scope, schedule, and budgets for major projects and is responsible for Project and Portfolio Management. Tracks projects, reports status and resolves problems, supervises and manages cross-functional projects, and manages service line dashboards. Defines and monitors critical success factors, key performance indicators, and defines Service Level Agreements stating expectations regarding performance of services. Oversees Network and Telecommunications Services (NaTS) business operations and devises strategies to more accurately track service line budget performance, to include identifying efficiencies to be gained. Reports progress regularly to service line Director and coordinate with the front office and office chiefs to sustain NaTS mission, vision, and values. Liaises with Mission partners to understand their needs and facilitates the needed service line resources to successfully meet those requirements. Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Preparing service level agreements, analyzing key performance indicators for cross-functional projects, and troubleshooting for customer-oriented solutions; Managing or leading an enterprise-level project, including formulating, planning, implementing, tracking, and evaluating outcomes; Developing strategies to optimize budgetary performance and the efficient use of financial resources.
