This position is part of the NNSA - Office of Secure Transportation, Department of Energy. A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Management and Program Analyst, providing assistance to the MSB Branch Chief by coordinating and completing work related to OST's workers' compensation program and focusing on continuous improvement to deliver superior customer service.

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Qualifications
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as one full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the NQ-02 pay band or GS-12 level as described in the vacancy announcement under specialized experience requirements.
Examples of specialized experience would include lt; i ; managing workers' compensation projects to solve complex problems, and conducting workers' compensation training or presentations to influence leadership decisions.
Examples of Qualified Experience that May Be Qualifying:
1. Leading or supporting a workers' compensation program with responsibilities for various functions to include workers' compensation case management
2. Interacting with the Department of Labor and medical care providers;
3. Developing and reviewing workers' compensation policies, processes, or procedures;
4. Managing workers' compensation projects to solve complex problems, and conducting workers' compensation training or presentations to influence leadership decisions.
