You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Training Command of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will facilitate lessons per approved Master Lesson Files (MLF)
You will integrate theory in practice within lessons and learning programs in accordance with service level guidelines.
You will foster a learning climate that is inclusive and invites learners to actively engage.
You will prevent learner misbehavior through personal facilitator ethics.
You will respond to learner misbehavior keeping a focus on learning and applying response techniques to maintain classroom decorum.
You will create class schedules and activities for existing courses.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Preparing facilitated learning by reviewing established guides, attending orientation briefings and arranging learning settings; 2.) Guiding learning activities and learning reflections during online and in-person lessons; 3.) Preventing learner misbehavior through personal facilitator ethics; 4.) Researching, developing and updating course material in accordance with prescribed course framework; and 5.) Preparing and maintaining lesson plans.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Assisting with facilitation in at least one of the four continuums (designing learning, enabling learning, facilitating learning, and assessing learning) of faculty development; and 2) Tracking completed training for reporting purposes.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS:11Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if relatedGS-09:Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.B. or J.D., if related
