You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN), Material Management Department (MMD) Patuxent River, Supply Operations Branch located at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD.
Duties
You will apply specialized methods to analyze and determine the effectiveness of supply programs, processes, and procedures.
You will compile data and reports to evaluate the efficiency of supply programs.
You will Investigate and analyze issues, questions, or conditions associated with processing requirements involving supply programs and logistics operations.
You will resolve issues and programs related to interface with supply automated data processing system.
You will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations and recommend areas for improvement.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing work using an extensive knowledge of automated supply systems support programs and relationships in the various specialized feilds of supply operations to interpret annd apply automated supply systems rules, regulations, and technical requirements. I have experience using supply systems and automated data processing methods and techniques to include assisting with the implementation, management, evaluation and maintenance of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in to provide timely and accurate maintenance, operations, and logistics data. Examples of specialized experience must include some of the following: 1) Utilizing NALCOMIS and ERP to effectively input and extract data in gathering supply management information and making recommendations for improvement and resolve problems; 2) Applying specialized methods to analyze and determine the effectiveness of supply programs, processes, and procedures; 3) Compiling data and reports to evaluate the efficiency of supply programs; 4) Investigating and analyzing issues, questions, or conditions associated with processing requirements involving supply programs and logistics operations; 5) Resolving issues and programs related to interface with supply automated data processing systems; and 6) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations and recommending areas for improvement.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
