This position is in the Refugee, Asylum, and International Operations Directorate (RAIO), International and Refugee Affairs Division (IRAD), Refugee and International Operations (RIO) District, International Operations Field Unit. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will conduct and lead diverse and unique projects affecting operational units to ensure the success of the USCIS mission.

Duties

Develops, organizes and delivers reports of analyzed data. Provides in-depth analysis of operational unit administrative programs and responds to data call from District and headquarters to provide fully analyzed data. Serves as an expert analyst and program advisor to leadership on various program operations and activities, requiring application of wide range qualitative system analysis, management support principles, processes, and audits of data. Develops and facilitate updates to administrative procedures and coordinate with counterparts across the District to identify and district wide practices and procedures Identifies and facilitates internal and external stakeholders that can provide collaborative input and assistance. Organizes, directs and monitors project milestones and progress to meet the requirements and priorities determined by management.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/08/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/08/2024. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Applying understanding of administrative functions to include human resources; budget and financial management, statistical research and performance measurement, responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders' and working across organizational lines. Gathering raw data, creating reports, and applying analytical methods to plan, organize, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of a variety of programs, ensuring compliance with agency requirements. Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive administrative systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques. Resolving broad and/or complex problems and issues associated with planning, coordinating and implementing agency programs and activities.
