This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development OIG -Office of Evaluation. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will work on a team to conduct complex evaluations/inspections (evaluations) of HUD programs.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
This experience is defined as:
- Planning and conducting evaluations, performance audits, or similar assessments of programs; AND
- Designing the methodology and scope of evaluations, performance audits, or similar assessments of programs; AND
- Applying analytical techniques to determine compliance with requirements, effectives, efficiency; or identify fraud, waste, and abuse; AND
- Leading meetings with program personnel and managers to present findings, explain the significance of conclusions, justify recommendations and answer questions about work conducted; AND
- Writing reports or portions of reports.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
