About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR), Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville.
Duties
Serve as a Program Support Assistant to the Chief, Military Personnel Service Division (MPSD) within the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR).
Perform work related to the practical and technical aspects of office administration.
Understand and has procedural knowledge of military and civilian personnel actions, budgeting, supply management, government purchase cards, and information processing.
Troubleshoot issues related to military and personnel actions, budgeting, purchasing, supply and property management, timekeeping, data processing, project planning, scheduling, tracking, and files management.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.

Specialized Experience for GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Provides support in the execution of activities for and in monitoring the execution of project work plans ; 2) Delivers guidance to personnel on matters pertaining to an organization's administrative functions; and 3) Preparing funding, procurement, or administrative documents such as purchase requests or management reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
