This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (l&A), Deputy Undersecretary for Analysis.
The primary purpose of this Management and Program Analysis position is to plan, organize and direct staffing activities at the Directorate level, ensuring activities comply with federal and Office of Intelligence and Analysis internal hiring practices and policies.
Duties
The incumbent will work as part of the core staff supporting the Deputy Undersecretary. As the lead Management and Program Analysis for the Director, you will be responsible for the coordination and processing of all hiring and staffing initiatives. The incumbent will coordinate mission support programs and will be responsible for planning and tracking resources for mission support projects. The incumbent will need to create and maintain effective relationships internally and external to the organization.

Requirements
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is covered by the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Qualifications
In addition to the specialized experience described above, you must have related experience in each of the competencies listed below which must be supported by the information contained in your resume and other application materials:
Knowledge of the laws, policies, and regulations related to federal and Department of Homeland Security staffing.
Knowledge of recruiting and staffing including position descriptions, job announcements, recruiting strategies and human resources systems.
Possess the ability to develop significant relationships with senior-level directors and other human resources management partners.
Superior interpersonal and administrative skills to provide written and oral reports with conclusions, alternatives and recommendations.
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
