ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: (U) The NGA Office of Expeditionary Operations (IX) is seeking an experienced, high performing Capabilities Integration Officer to serve as the Mission Operations Integrator, NGA Expeditionary Operations (IX). A well-qualified candidate will have a background and experience in all aspects of the expeditionary operations lifecycle to include requirements, cost estimation, recruitment, training and readiness, NGA, DoD, and IC travel policy, customer engagement, deployer reintegration, as well as NGA HD and Medical policies. An outstanding candidate will take the initiative to tackle any number of complex tactical and strategic issues with a sense of urgency and either solve them or raise them to IX leadership as appropriate. The IX Mission Operations Integrator will possess skills and experience from across a wide range of disciplines to include intelligence policy and strategy, program management, budgeting, programming and planning, international affairs, business process improvement, and requirements gathering.(U) The Mission Operations Integrator will oversee a wide range of policy, mission, administrative, budgeting, and technical functions and tasks which require vision, advanced leadership skills, excellent communication, and, most importantly, integration of office activities to support successful mission operations. A successful candidate will leverage their expertise and institutional knowledge to anticipate and frame ambiguous issues, assess risks, devise solutions, keep management apprised of high priority issues and requirements, and seamlessly integrate these aspects together. They prioritize mission requirements and work assignments for our fast moving and highly complex office, provide guidance, direct work to appropriate action officers, and advise decision makers. They oversee the planning of activities on behalf of senior leaders.(U) The Mission Operations Integrator will possess intimate knowledge of and experience with NGA's Expeditionary Operations mission and will maintain the necessarily medical standards and readiness qualifications in order to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment's notice. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues.2. Demonstrated experience working with Congressional Affairs to rapidly answer Question For the Record (QFRs) and Request For Information (RFIs) from Oversight.4. Demonstrated experience with project and/or program management including establishing objectives, timelines, milestones, and measurements/metrics. 5. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment while managing multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Physical Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in identifying and leveraging IC/DoD missions and needs to integrate capabilities and methodology, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in identifying and leveraging IC/DoD missions and needs to integrate capabilities and methodology, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Familiarity with directives and regulations for overseeing and directing contractor employees.2. Experience with intelligence analysis, and/or business analytics including experience working withTableau (or other visualization software) and working with big data and relevant tools to solve hard problems.3. Strong understanding of the NGA Strategy, mission, functions and corporate structure.4. Foreign language competency in at least one language. 5. Risk Management experience to include thorough reviews of documentation and analysis. 6. Vision and ability to work with highly technical projects, such as MAVEN and other AI/ML effort, to collaborate and add value to existing efforts not seen by other.
