About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services.
Leads the team in: identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization; making adjustments to accomplish the workload.
Represents the team in dealings with the supervisor or manager for the purpose of obtaining resources and securing needed information or decisions from the supervisor on major work problems and issues that arise.
Serves as a Lead Integrated Logistics Support Manager responsible for ensuring the development of all elements of ILS for assigned systems in a Project Management Office.
Applies knowledge and experience in program/budget control and broad technical knowledge of communication concepts, techniques, practices, equipment, systems, and an intensive knowledge of maintenance requirements procedures and interrelationships.
Coordinates the development of current, accurate, and adequate ILS procurement data.
Visits contractors or other Government agencies and services to monitor contracts and review contractor input.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Experience leading a team or project in life cycle logistics. Experience assisting with the transitioning of a system/program to sustainment. Experience utilizing Army Information systems, to include the Logistics and Modernization Program (LMP). Experience reviewing budget submissions. Experience delivering briefs both oral and written.
