About the Position: This position serves as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. This position will be filled as a temporary appointment.

Duties

Perform the full range of supervisory functions while planning and carrying out program and procedural development and administrative functions. Serve as a senior advisor providing interpretive technical advisory services and analysis of regulations, rules and policies. Establish and maintain liaison with foreign government personnel involved in the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) program. Provide new approaches, new program emphasis, and new or improved guidance after studying operations, administrative decisions and questions emanating from the field.

Requirements

• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• May require Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 25% of the time.
• The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position’s SCW certification level.
• May require a one year Supervisory Probation period if requirements have not been previously met.
