You will serve as a DEERS/RAPID SITE SECURITY MANAGER in the MANPOWER DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties

You will comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance. You will compose correspondence from brief notes and oral instructions. You will maintain logs, records, and files pertaining to the number of individuals serviced, copies completed applications, correspondence, and cases processed by mail. You will verify that all issuing/Verifying Officials complete their required training/testing and receive certification before receiving security access. You will serve as the technical expert and manager for this function and works primarily independently

Requirements

• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

• You must be able to type 40 words per minute.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing security workstations(e.g. Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System) to provide eligibility for specific benefits and entitlements to military personnel, retirees, family members, DoD civilians, and Disabled American Veterans, and oversee and train security personnel. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
