This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14, (high grade) positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary for the NT-5 may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354). Duties

You will serve as an Equal Opportunity Specialist who supports EEO program such as (Affirmative Employment Program, Alternative Dispute Resolution, EEO Training and Special Emphasis Programs). You will perform program management working with manager, supervisors and non-supervisory employees to raise awareness of EEO policies and principles, conducting barrier analysis, and making recommendations to the Deputy EEO for corrective action. You will identify potential discriminatory practices and barriers to the employment and advancement of all groups of employees and applicants for employment and recommend ways to change these practices and remove potential barriers. You will review and analyze data to provide input into the MD-715 report for special emphasis program area and advise deputy EEO and Diversity Officer and management officials of barriers and possible solutions. You will review and analyze data, surveys and various sources on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify potential barriers and recommend a plan of action of to eliminate barriers.

Qualifications

For the NT-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading in the development and implementation of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity and Inclusion programs. For the NT-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9/10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support for the development and implementation of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity and Inclusion programs. Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
