You will serve as a EEO COMPLAINTS MANAGER in the EEO OFFICE (Code10E), DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION DIVISION, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of CARDEROCK DIV NS.
The salary range shown in the announcement represents all of the positions within the band, including GS-14 equivalent (high grade) positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will plan, direct and evaluate the EEO program, in addition to meeting regulatory requirements, focuses on the solutions of problem to eliminate barriers to the EEO agency, management policy and practices.
You will be involved in technical personnel administration or management issues such as the workforce assessment, employee/labor relations, and staffing issues.
You will provide expert guidance and advice concerning the EEO Discrimination Complaint Program.
You will serve as the management on discrimination complaint program which requires analysis/interpretation of a large body of facts from circumstantial evidence where rapidly changing conditions occur over a short periord of time.
You will identify cases that could be resolved via Alternative Dispute Resolution ADR Techniques.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-04(GS-11-12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing program advice and guidance on issues related to the (EEO) Equal Opportunity Management program or (EEO) Discrimination Complaint Program to facilitate the removal of barriers to equal employment.
