You will serve as a EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SPECIALIST in the EEO OFFICE (Code10E), DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION DIVISION, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of CARDEROCK DIV NS.
Duties
You will serve as an Equal Opportunity Specialist who supports EEO program such as (Affirmative Employment Program, Alternative Dispute Resolution, EEO Training and Special Emphasis Programs).
You will perform program management working with manager, supervisors and non-supervisory employees to raise awareness of EEO policies and principles, conducting barrier analysis, and making recommendations to the Deputy EEO for corrective action.
You will identify potential discriminatory practices and barriers to the employment and advancement of all groups of employees and applicants for employment and recommend ways to change these practices and remove potential barriers.
You will review and analyze data to provide input into the MD-715 report for special emphasis program area and advise deputy EEO and Diversity Officer and management officials of barriers and possible solutions.
You will review and analyze data, surveys and various sources on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify potential barriers and recommend a plan of action of to eliminate barriers.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support for the development and implementation of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity and Inclusion programs.
