Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Providing expertise in the development of program and financial management deficiencies for which national guidelines do not exist or are not applicable and responds with suggestions and innovative approaches.
Developing instructions, guides, and procedures for tracking and reporting budget activities, financial management expenditures and audit resolution activities.
Conducting projects or special initiatives to identify and assess complex programmatic issues, which significantly impact on program policy objectives.
Providing the Division with knowledge of evidence-based practices for sexual risk avoidance and the prevention of teen pregnancy, knowledge of positive youth development and trauma-informed care for youth, and demonstrates expertise in research and evaluation that contribute to the outcomes of the knowledge base for youth, to include study design, methodology, instrument development, statistical analysis, and report writing for various audiences.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications
You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3) of the following:
1. Planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring grant programs following existing policy, and in compliance with governing laws and regulations.
2. Providing technical direction and guidance for positive youth development/adolescent pregnancy prevention/sexual risk avoidance/reproductive health/ and/or public health programs including assisting with planning and coordinating the implementation of policies and program innovations.
3. Providing technical direction and guidance in data-driven decision-making such as using performance measures and evaluation findings to improve quality of programs and/or programmatic policy.
4. Providing programmatic and financial management oversight including developing instructions, guides, and procedures for tracking and reporting programmatic and budget activities and developing and maintaining information (to include formulation and execution) for program budgets.
