Duties
The Senior Document Automation Specialist works closely with the CRS Branch Chiefs, EMS Processing Center (EPC) Branches, and the Support Branch to discuss current and future office print device requirements within the EMS customer base.
Participates in weekly conference calls with the EMS team to address customer concerns, analysis, EMS new business opportunities, and overall EMS objectives.
Coordinates with the CRS Branch Chief in support of all DoD and Federal agency customers.
Conducts market research and makes technical recommendations for customers' requirements.
Maintains an understanding of customer billing, equipment ordering process, contracting fundamentals, customer funding and industry standards.
Works with CRS Branch Chief to ensure office print devices are suitable to the customers' requirements and are in the best interest and best value for the Government.

Qualifications
Qualifications: To qualify for a Document Automation Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Servicing customers at the highest level at all sites within their assigned territory.
Performs a wide range of diversified and complex functions related to the planning and implementation of integrated sales, marketing, analysis, and customer service program.
Represents their organization to all high level current and potential customers, for both mission and goals.
Furnishes expert technical advice and guidance for all customers within the territory.
Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
