This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Financial Management Directorate (FMD), IBC Financial Management Directorate. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating, processing, and entering incoming indirect cost rate proposal applications, analyzing data, making program recommendations. The employee also assists the Administrative Officer with the planning, developing, managing and controlling of various administrative programs.
Duties
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on incoming customer indirect cost rate proposal applications. Evaluate proposals for adequacy and ensures that budget cost data, audited financial statements, and organizational forms are complete.
Provide a variety of administrative and management services essential to the direction and operation of the Indirect Cost and Contract Audit Division.
Analyze administrative policy and operating procedures for program effectiveness and establish and maintain monitoring practices to identify and recommend business process improvements.
Conduct property management functions such as conducting physical inventory and entering data into automated system, tracking, and disposing of property.
Perform other administrative duties to include government charge card holder, managing and archiving official records, and facilities management.

Eligibility Requirements:
In order to be eligible for the Pathways Recent Graduates Program, the following qualifications must be met:
Be a U.S. citizen;
Possess a qualifying associate's, bachelor's, master's professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.
Veterans: If you are a veteran, as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108, who, due to military service obligation, was precluded from applying to the Recent Graduates Program during any portion of the 2-year eligibility period, you shall have a full 2-year period of eligibility upon your release or discharge from active duty. In no event, however, may your eligibility period extend beyond 6 years from the date on which you completed the requirements of an academic course of study.
In addition to the eligibility requirements for the Pathways Recent Graduates Program listed above, all applicants must meet one of the following qualifications for the Program Support Specialist, GS-0301-07:
A. One year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-05 or equivalent level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of this position and has equipped you with the knowledge and competencies to successfully perform the duties of this position. More specifically, this requirement involves experience in reviewing documents and files for adequacy and completeness; entering data into electronic systems; responding to customer inquiries; and purchasing supplies and equipment or assisting with budget, inventory, or another business support function.
B. One full year of graduate level education directly related to the position that gave me the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position. (Applicants who choose this option must submit transcripts.)
C. A combination of qualifying graduate education and specialized experience that equals 100%. For example, 6 months of qualifying graduate education and 6 months of specialized experience. (Applicants who choose this option must submit transcripts.)
D. Meet one of the requirements for Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A), which includes (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. Class standing -- Applicants must be in the upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, such as the College of Liberal Arts or the School of Business Administration, based on completed courses. Grade-point average (G.P.A.)-- Applicants must have a grade-point average of: 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on their official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. 3. Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society as outlined for SAA.
