Duties
You will assist with the review of procurement documents to determine completeness, regulatory and policy compliance, and the suitability of using simplified acquisition procedures versus contracting procedures.
You will determine the extent of competition required, the appropriate procurement methodology, the most suitable contract line-item number structure, and the terms and conditions applicable to the procurement.
You will prepare procurement documentation that complies with applicable statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.
You will perform basic post-award administration actions, including modifications, option exercises, price, quantity, or delivery changes, and cancellations.
You will perform market research to determine procurement history and the availability of sources.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience, of which one year must be equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with gathering technical data related to contracts, production, or purchasing/procurement activities.
