You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the Production Resources Department (Code 900), Production Resources Manager (Code 901), Service Shop (Code 990), however, the permanent duty station of the position is Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department (NRMD), Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will have technical accountability for the quantity and quality of the work performed by subordinates.
You will evaluate skills of team members.

Experience supervising work performed by subordinates and planning division of workload based on capabilities of available employees, workplace conditions, and priority of projects.
Experience performing regular job site supervision paying close attention to conformance to procedures, processes, and established performance goals; Experience informing management on a continuous basis of job progress, technical and personnel relation problem areas, job discrepancies, and the need for adjusting schedule, budget, and personnel assignments; Experience providing work leaders the necessary plans, procedures, blueprints, instructions, tools, etc., to perform their work operations.
