This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for C5ISC, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (CSISC), Financial and Logistics System located in Kearneysville, WV.
Duties
In this position you will collaborate with a Team of Network Professionals and serve as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist for IT Network Infrastructure, responsible for the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, installation, implementation and integration of networked systems used for the transmission of information in data, voice and/or video formats.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector.
Specialized experience must include the following:
Providing advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
Acting as a primary stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service.
Providing direction and monitoring all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
Overseeing budget and contracting.
Working with other service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Education cannot be substituted at this grade level.
