The incumbent serves as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Manager in a Regional office and provides Service Area-wide backup as needed. The incumbent is responsible for the Agency's Substance Abuse Rehabilitation/Treatment Program, Critical Incident Stress Management Program (CISMP), Violence in the Workplace Issues Program (VIWP), and Work-life programs.
Duties
Major duties include facilitating the coordination between employee and substance abuse professionals, which includes monitoring employees' progress, prepares monthly reports and answers questions concerning the Agency's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12 level.
