About the Position: This position is located in Fort Moore Georgia, Facilities Division Operations. All candidates should reside within the local commuting area where the position is located. Local commuting area is defined as the geographic area surrounding a work site that encompasses the localities where people live and reasonably can be expected to travel back and forth daily to work based on the generally held expectations of the local community. (5 CFR 575.203)

Duties

Manage service order calls, and determining priority. Maintain a comprehensive facility operations program. Establish a budget to support the assigned facilities operations, maintenance, and repair plans. Develop a comprehensive program that includes maintenance and repair, custodial and grounds maintenance. Utilize various types of software applications to assist in tracking maintenance. Evaluate facility operation program effectiveness that includes maintenance, custodial services and grounds maintenance. Conduct technical briefings and presentations clearly and concisely to groups and individuals. Assist facility engineer with analysis of facility space management. Assist Regional Operations Chief by leading a Team of Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in managing effective facility operations within assigned communities/district.
