This position will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Youth Program. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
• This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations this includes annual influenza vaccinations and be free of all communicable diseases.
• This position requires the incumbent to complete assigned training, to include Food Handlers certification, within specified time from date hire or assignment to position.

SPECIALIZED REQUIREMENT: One year at the CY02 level (Target Level) or equivalent. Must have completed an Associate of Arts degree in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields or have a Child Development Associate credential or a Youth Development credential (must remain current). **NOTE: Those qualified applicants who meet both the minimum qualification requirement(s) and highly preferred criteria(s) will be considered best qualified for this position and will be referred to the selecting official(s) first for consideration. Education
