To qualify for this Training Specialist position at the IC-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Applying education principles to conduct instructor-led delivery of training courses in an adult learning environment, combining classroom and virtual methods of delivery. Delivering training on Federal disaster programs. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR Combination of education and experience (if required) To qualify for this Training Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Applying training techniques to modify and deliver classroom instruction and proficiently utilize virtual online platforms, instructing training courses to meet program requirements. Using training Instructional Systems Design methods, technologies and tools including observation, evaluation, and questionnaires to analyze and improve course effectiveness. Delivering training on Federal disaster programs. This position has an Individual Occupational Requirement (basic requirements): Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. or Experience Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction.
