About the position: This position will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Outdoor Recreation, FAMCAMP, Fairchild AFB, WA.
Performs and/or assists in the operation and maintenance of the FamCamp Area.
This is a Flexible (Intermittent) position; guaranteed 0-40 hours per week; depending on the needs of the facility.
Duties
Performs and/or assists in the operation and maintenance of the FamCamp Area. Types of duties include, but are not limited to the following: checking in/out RV camp guests; providing advice/assistance to guests in the form of local area referrals; may provide advice on RV maintenance; maintaining and restocking the bathrooms; maintaining the Famcamp area; ensuring that the area is neat and clean and in accordance with any rules and regulation set forth by the supervisor; inspects area for security and general conditions and reports any unusual occurrences to supervisor; may collect fees and protect funds. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned; Must have experience, knowledge and familiarity in Recreational Vehicles (RVs). Familiarity with the local area is desirable. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be available to work an uncommon tour of duty to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
