This position serves as a Program Analyst in the Office of the Chief of Staff (NA-90.1), Office of Infrastructure (NA-90), National Nuclear Security Administration, Department of Energy. The mission of the Office of Infrastructure is to provide NNSA with the people, systems, and processes to succeed in delivering mission capabilities.

As a Program Analyst, you will:
Qualifications
Specialized Experience: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience providing comprehensive analytical support and management advice to NA-90 senior management and program managers on agency infrastructure program and business management, including planning and analysis functions.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
-Experience providing program and project management support to facility modernization activities to deliver requirements that efficiently and safely revitalize the enterprise and meet mission objectives.
-Experience developing options to reduce the cost of achieving modernization goals through the identification and analysis of alternative risks, scope, schedule, and costs.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
