As a Program Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis on a variety of subject matter to top regional management, and for initiating and/or leading projects involving the evaluation of regional programs/operations.Location of position: White House Service Center, National Capital Region (NCR), Public Building Services (PBS), General Services Administration (GSA).We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Analyze a variety of subject matters initiating and/or leading projects involving the evaluation of regional programs/operations.
Serve as technical advisor for assigned program activities, obtaining appropriate resources to facilitate accomplishment of objectives. Plan and/or direct complex projects requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions and recommending appropriate action.
Design and undertake comprehensive management studies, initiatives, or data-gathering efforts, where the boundaries of the studies are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
Prepare and/or conduct briefings for higher level management to explain the specific analysis of subject matter, as well as to provide recommendations or action plans and provide guidance and/or direction for implementation.

The GS-13salary range starts at $117,962 per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service providing technical advice on workforce management support (e.g. hiring, programs and other related administrative services); analyzing and linking data from multiple datasets and databases, producing reports and presenting the information in a variety of formats (i.e. reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphs, etc.) to senior leadership, as well as extensive coordinating and/or facilitating initiatives in support of advanced professional development, leadership and organizational development needs (reviewing training course materials, aids, devices and evaluation of training results).
