You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Strategic Planning & Integration Office within the Space Technology Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters and be responsible for acting as a data strategist supporting or overseeing a variety of data enhancement initiatives across the organization.
Duties
Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
Serve as the lead data strategist for the Office of Strategic Planning and Integration, ensuring the organization has effective systems in place in order to inform investment decisions that are aligned with strategic frameworks.
Independently oversee the development and implementation of a variety of enhancements leveraging existing IT systems in order to enhance leadership's access to invest data.
Independently lead all activities in in support of the organization’s information systems community of interest, enhancing stakeholder engagement while increasing awareness of investment data and analytical capabilities across the Directorate.
Identify and/or develop best practices for managing and leveraging data to ensure effective investment decision-making. Oversee dissemination as necessary.
Provide process oversight and quality control of organizational investment data.
Identify opportunities for strengthening the organization’s strategic framework. Develop and conduct benchmarking exercises for lead outcomes in support of the framework.
Provide leadership for several of the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility initiatives.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
Participating in the development of project plans or studies to evaluate organizational performance;
Assisting with gathering data and identifying resource requirements (i.e., staffing, funding, equipment, facilities) to support various levels of a program/project operational needs;
Analyzing and interpreting program or financial requirements, regulations, policy statements, or other similar guidelines or information material to determine the impact on program operations.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
Gathering, organizing, and analyzing complex data to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and take appropriate action;
Evaluating the effectiveness of programs or projects to present and recommend improvements to leadership for decision making;
Providing subject matter expertise on a wide range of organizational practices, program and mission goals and objectives, and managing/prioritizing competing requirements from the center and agency levels.
