This position is located within Patient Care Services and reports directly to the Associate Director, Patient Care Services (ADPCS), a member of the PENTAD Executive Leadership Team; develops, analyzes, evaluates, monitors, and manages incoming actions and requests; manages incoming actions, completes a technical and content review for appropriateness; maintains a tracking tool to ensure that actions are completed timely; and researches, writes, and coordinates various proposals and initiatives.
Duties
Incorporates data reports with professional knowledge to provide constant program oversight that leads to reducing and/or eliminating problems.
Locates appointment information or team assignments /location using computer based systems.
Possess knowledge of Human Resources end-user processes and technical knowledge of data analytics including approved data analytic programs.
Develops and maintains strategic planning that results in the development of long range plans, goals, objectives and milestones for the program, which are designed to improve learning and development, performance, and efficiency and effectiveness of service.
Develops and maintains productive and cooperative relationships with internal and external groups, organizations, and other contact management entities.
Works collaboratively with multiple departments and services to promote state of-the-art business and technology systems.
Assists in ensuring that issues/complaints raised by Veterans and Service Members, their families and/or stakeholder are fully addressed.
Uses MS Word or comparable word processing software to execute several office automation functions such as storing and retrieving electronic documents and files; activating printers; inserting and deleting text; formatting letters, reports, and memorandum; and transmitting and receiving e-mail.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 07:30 am -4:00 pm. (Subject to change based on the needs of the Agency)

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/22/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-9. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-9 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: analyzing data and performing statistical calculations and developing reports using multiple programs; performing studies/analyses to identify and explore trends, patterns, problem areas and causal relationships with regard to the current and future healthcare environment and its impact on the operating functions of the organization; Prepares, executes and/or tracks patient and personnel specific information; prepares reports, actions plans, and works with management processes; Develops, analyzes, and maintains data systems that provide reports to Leadership; uses automated systems to extract a variety of clinical data for inclusion into required material; researches regulations, polices and standard operating procedures; Collaborates with other service lines/programs to problem solve and develop action plans to improve service delivery; maintains files for reports and other forms of confidential correspondence; and maintains excellent communication skills. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or LL.M if related education leading to such a degree. leading to such a degree? Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond the graduate level education (in excess of the first two years or 36 semester hours) and specialized experience to meet total experience requirements. Physical Requirements: Physical demands of the position are quite limited period the work is mostly sedentary, but some walking, bending, stooping, and carrying are required.
