This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Entrepreneurial Development in ne of the locations listed above. Manages the performance of a portfolio of Small Business Development Center Networks. Develops and recommends national policies and operating procedures for the effective management and delivery of the SBDC program.
Duties
Manage the performance of a portfolio of Small Business Development Center Networks and as such is for the performance management of each assigned network providing advice, assistance and oversight.
Assist in the design and implementation of strategies to strengthen and expand the program's capabilities and investments.
Collects and analyzes reporting data from grant recipients, provides success stories and interprets the data in relation to the delivery and success of the SBDC Program. Prepares and makes presentations at conferences regarding the SBDC Program.
Serves as Program Manager of an SBDC network.

Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Providing guidance and interpretation of policies, regulations and emerging legislation regarding grants programs; participating in strategic planning, development and evaluation of implementation of long-term program goals and objectives; applying a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of grants programs; and networking, negotiating and building effective partnerships/relationships to advance the mission of a program or organization. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.
GS-14: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes: developing and recommending national policies and operating procedures for the effective management and delivery of programs; and interpreting and recommending program policy and regulations along with providing guidance to State/Region Directors, University Officials, and field offices; and providing leadership and direction in the development of new legislation or policies affecting an organization.
