About the Position: This position is with the HQDA, ARSE, ODCS, G-3, USA operations and Plans Support Group, Insider Threat Operations Division located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Duties
Direct the development of plans and Courses of Action (COA) for addressing strategic impacts and operational risks.
Inform Senior Leaders on risk determinations, response, and mitigation efforts.
Monitor response and mitigation efforts in order to protect against current and emerging threats.
Research and evaluate both government and non- government/commercial programs and studies to obtain information on insider threat best practices.
Assure new technical and managerial plans and programs are coordinated within the chain of command.
Review projects, reports, group, and individual performance for consistency with policies, compliance with procedures and regulations.
Review all insider threat related information to identify potential trends, issues, or duplications.
Lead and direct insider threat studies

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes monitoring and reporting insider threats to applicable personnel and/or authorities; advising senior leaders on critical insider threat information; collaborating with internal and external agencies on mitigating insider threats; and managing administrative functions in support of insider threat programs such as budget formulation and execution, readiness and training, and/or personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
