You will serve as a Real Property Audit and Accountability Manager in the Public Works (PW) Directorate of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Headquarters. **Above salary does not include locality. Locality adjustment will be determined by duty location once a selection has been made. **

Duties

You will develop, interpret, approve, and implement real property audit policies, procedures, training, and methodologies within the Department of the Navy (DON). You will facilitate the implementation of real property audit readiness practices, procedures, and standards issued by authoritative Financial Management organizations. You will be responsible for real property policies and procedures; program and process oversight; real property audit responses; management control program oversight of real property accounting and accountability operations. You will conduct or participate in surveys, reviews, appraisals and evaluations of DoD/DON real property accounting and accountability policies and procedures at headquarters, field, and operating force levels. You will develop improvements, solutions, or corrective measures for resolving financial management issues.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing real property audit readiness policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with authoritative financial standards. 2) Administering the management control program utilizing the Federal Manager's Financial Integrity act. 3) Administering the DON Management Control Program (or similar program) pertinent to real property accounting and accountability including the review of reports pursuant to OMB circulars.
