You will serve as the Integrated Program Team (IPT) Lead in the THREAT PROJ DIV, THREAT/TARGET SYS DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will be responsible for training system program requirements and upgrades to include development, costs, schedules, performance and reporting related to the execution of those programs. You will provide overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets and functions of the TTR instrumentation government/contractor team assignments. will manage customer expectations, technical requirements, articulate, compile, and gain concurrence on them, and prepare executable Statements of Work (SOW). You will create and modify contractual documentation (e.g., Statement of Work, Performance Work Statement, Independent Government Cost Estimate), and conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DA-05) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Managing and directing a team, as well as their progress of advanced system design and delivery; 2) Leading and monitoring technical contracts, and writing technical requirements; 3) Demonstrating experience with technology advances in threat systems, engineering, project planning, project execution, and operational support; 4) Managing project reporting and approval process, understanding cost estimation, schedule planning and project tracking; and 5) Providing presentations and briefs regarding critical budgetary and status issues to key stakeholders.
