You will serve as an OPERATIONS MANAGER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of EODTEU ONE.
Duties
You will develop command policy, planning, resources, programs, regulations, and execution guidance for the operations support to training and readiness of unit level training and advanced skills training.
You will analyze, review and develop current and future operational training strategies used to establish and set official Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Training programs, policy, guidance, regulations and implementation plans.
You will prepare and conduct studies and briefings to senior Joint, Navy, Inter-Agency and civilian leaders.
You will recommend revisions to Training Strategy, Training Concepts, Capstone Documents, and other foundational documents.
You will prepare command leadership for participation in Strategic Planning Processes, Quarterly Readiness Updates, Semi-Annual Training Briefs, and Unit Status Reporting.
You will plan/coordinate Work Groups for command Staff including EODGRU-1, Center for EOD and Diving, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC)/NECC Pacific, and EOD Mobile Units, a Mobile Diving and Salvage Company, and an EOD EXP Support Unit.
You will provide institutional expertise for operations and training input for EOD organizations into the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) when required.
You will negotiate with key officials of other commands to obtain acceptance of proposals and to resolve issues.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and developing operational training strategies to establish and implement Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training programs, policy, guidance and regulations to support unit training and readiness levels.
