About the Position: About the Position: This position will be filled in the Security Office located at the Engineering Research and Development Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Duties
Provide customer service and communicate clearly and interact via face-to-face, telephone, email, and other modes of communication.
Organize and prepare material for approval for conferences, official correspondence, and assist employees with official travel, etc.
Establishes, maintains, and files office records, sort official mail, and performs mailing functions, as necessary.
Verify time and attendance using the CEFMS automated financial management system and ensure accurate timekeeping and leave of employees.
Possess knowledge using MS Office software, including Power Point, Word, EXCEL and MS Outlook.
Possess knowledge using Microsoft Outlook to coordinate and schedule department activities, meetings, and other activities as required.
Perform automated Purchase Request, including the ordering of office supplies and equipment.
Anticipates clerical/administrative needs and prioritizes to meet deadlines.
Other Administrative/General Support Duties as assigned.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
