You will serve as a CIVIL UTILITIES SUPERINTENDENT in the Operations Department of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will coordinate civil utilities program efforts with other internal activities and with the activities of other agencies and external organizations.
You will set and track goals and metrics for the staff.
You will use automated maintenance tracking tools, such as Single Platform Maximo to track accomplishment of maintenance.
You will direct all work in the group through subordinate supervisors, adhering to time, cost and quality standards.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying mechanical, electrical and civil practices as they relate to the operation and maintenance of civil utility systems; 2) Using computer systems as they apply to civil utility operations and maintenance procedures; 3) Applying experimental theories and new concepts to specific problems and overall planning in the building facilities systems; and 4) Adapting with activities under a Working Capital Fund environment and financial processes in order to provide recommendations regarding budget and planning.
