You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF G-8 of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will review and evaluate budget requests. You will present and defend budget obligations and expenditures. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations programs and activities.

• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Detailed intensive knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures and regulations in administrative and financial management systems.
