You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CLOUD SERVICES AND INFRASTRUCTURE BRANCH of the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIVISION within the FLEET READINESS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.

Duties

You will ensure accountability and responsiveness to customer requirements. You will develop and manage schedules, procedures, funding allocations, progress and reporting methods for assigned programs. You will represent the command with external customers and personnel to include fleet Commanding Officers of DoD Programs, projects and organizations. You will manage and supervise personnel of varying disciplines and grade levels; assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments and capabilities. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates; giving advice, counsel, or instruction on both work and administrative matters. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees; providing or arranging development and training. You will improve production or increase the quality of the work directed; developing performance standards.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing basic and applied research with technologies pursuant to developing and delivering training capabilities and products.
