Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as managing directives that requires U.S. Federal government agencies to develop, procure, or maintain, information and communication technology (ICT) that is accessible to persons with disabilities.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness
Skill in developing recommendations to increase program efficiency
Ability to evaluate program performance results
Skill to plan, organize, and direct team study work and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations
Skill in oral communication
Ability to identify and develop data required for use in the management and direction of programs
Knowledge of Agency program goals and objectives
Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods
Knowledge of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC § 794d)
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
