About the Position: The Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA) is the organization in the Department of the Army responsible for providing "civilian" human resources support. CHRA's mission is to recruit, develop, and sustain a professional civilian workforce through effective, efficient, and responsive Human Resource products and advisory services.

Duties

Serve as Chief Data Officer, responsible for advising on existing and emerging technology solutions needed to support civilian human resources programs Manage organization data modernization program Establish and develop Data Architecture for managing data and metadata across organization applications Develop, implement and maintain operationally focused data governance Align organization IT Data Architecture with organization strategy, budget, and operational capabilities

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret Security clearance is required.
  • Travel of 15% is required.
  • Information Assurance Management Level III (IAM-III) certification is required within 6 months of employment.
  • Information System Security Professional (CISSP Certified) certification is required within 6 months of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Data ManagementPlanning and EvaluatingStrategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
